Must Have Album: The Efferusphere by Big Wild
The Efferusphere is the Softmore album of Jackson Stell, frontman of the Big Wild. As far as we know this is an invented word by the artist with a self-defined meaning as follows.
Efferusphere: A paralell dimension where emotional energy defines the law of what you see and hear based on how you feel.
The record is comprised of some really powerfully written and composed songs. Stell has a knack for connecting with ultra-talented instrumentalists who move the projects along without a break in step. The artist continues to tinker with the arrangements, recreating some of the songs, to be with friends on recently released ‘The Efferusphere With Friends’. The extra effort is being eaten alive by the fanbase and it’s showing in the ticket sales. Jackson has stated he is making concerted efforts to reduce the biological footprint of his tour, a move sorely needed industry-wide.
Big Wild is now set to take The Efferusphere on an eponymous, 21-city tour with another favorite artist of this publication who goes by the name of Biig Piig. You can check out a list of dates below and listen to the album on streaming platforms here.
This is a standout album for us because of the way it moves. It helps wisk you into that positive space emotionally to roll with the jubilant arrangement this record has, and elevate that feeling tremendously. Stell has a solid music pedigree that shines through this album which took three years to create.
