Track Of The Day – True Crime By DREAMERS
One of our favorite American bands on the rise currently is New-York based Trio DREAMERS. This year the band executed the incredible feat of releasing four EP’s and they couldn’t be wetter. As there are many tracks to choose from this one might very well be our favorite.
Known for dipping and dabbing into the animation side of video production, the video for “True Crime” is very fun to look at. There are lots of 2-D and 3-D mash-ups that really create a dark, sort of pop-up book effect that was executed beautifully. There’s something about the sound that comes from alternative bands from New-York. It seems like they are able to soak up the culture and release a vibe that is not only extremely variable but also is really innovative.
The consistency with DREAMERS is unreal. The band has only been around since 2014 but has delivered two full-length studio albums and six EP’s. Most artists are out here struggling to make a single song. Our hats go off to this band for putting in all the hard work and giving the fans another great song in 2020.
