Album Review: Sequoia Moon By Summer Salt
Summer Salt is becoming a generational band, the duo just released their fifth album, Sequoia Moon. Matthew Terry and Eugene Chung make a great team, and the hashtag is winning. The group has been around since 2014 when they debuted the everlasting Driving To Hawaii. They took a few years off until 2018, since then, we’ve gotten an album every year.
This may very well be the best of the bunch. When it came to staying true to their 60s inspired tunes they kept it 100. These songs have a Hawaii-5.0 swing that makes us wanna hit the beach with a longboard. The kind that you can surf on with your family, plus the dog. The project was produced by Phil Ek through Cherry Lime Records. Phil did a great job with the project, the mastering is incredible. Summer Salt is on tour all over the southeastern corner of America starting in July.
Check out our favorite songs from the album.
