New Single ‘Somethinggreater’ By Parcels
One of our favorite bands from the delightful Downunder is Parcels, a lovely ensemble from the surfboard parts of Australia. The band is made up of keyboardist Louie Swain, keyboardist/guitarist Patrick Hetherington, bassist Noah Hill, drummer Anatole “Toto” Serret, and guitarist Jules Crommelin.
The new single released by the band titled “Somethinggreater” has us in a bit of a free fall frenzy. This is a huge ribbon-clad present from the group that is coupled with the announcement of their second full-length album Day/Night. This is a hugely herculean vibe that lifts us up and makes us feel better about the height. The group is really taking hold of the emotional content and rhythm that produces a smooth ride gliding through slime.
Signed to French label Kitsuné, Parcels rose to prominence after collaborating with the electronic duo Daft Punk on the production and writing of their 2017 single “Overnight.” Since then we’ve heard nothing but sweet sweat coming from the new wave artists. With this single, the band announced that the second album will be fully released on November 5th of this year.
