Album Review: Moments In Between By Ruth B.
Canadian native Ruth Berhe a.k.a Ruth B. has released her second full-length album. The project is titled Moments In Between, it is an extraordinary set of songs designed to ignite the soul. The songwriting on this whole project is in a different solar system than what we often hear. Patrick Wimberly, who was the executive producer on the album did an astute job putting together an indelible album.
Berthe explores a cosmic universe of emotional content on the record. Ruth has a timely ebb and flow to her lyrical application. She uses her breath and delivery to enrich every word with a magnetic pulse. The songs on this album move you in different directions and stretch the listener sideways. A great song to be played any time you want a pleasant vibe to fall upon you like a whipped cream caramel drizzle.
