Cautious Clay has come one step closer to releasing his newest, not yet titled, or scheduled full-length album. The former real-estate hustler turned R&B avenger has released another amazing single titled “Roots”.
It is overwhelming how effortless Clay’s style pairs with the songwriting. It’s one thing to have emotional content, it’s another to turn it into melody you’ll never forget. The pace is incredible, there is nothing loaded up into the song that makes it feel overly heavy.
Clay has a wonderful way of expressing two emotional perspectives of the same relationship. Everyone knows exactly how they felt or feel when they hear the words. As Clay says in the song “Trust the process”, as we revolve in relationships, we evolve as people. We grow into a better love, a better life.
