Must-Have Album Review: Sling By Clairo
American singer and songwriter Clairo has just released a highly impressive second serving of excellent music. Her sophomore album Sling is a collection of emotionally charged gems that will peel even the steeliest pedals. The album is well thought out, well put together, and planned to unnerve and reveal the underbelly of her own style. These records have meaning, they aren’t just pop star coins being pushed into a slot. Clairo is a thoughtful artist with a lot to share, her chemistry is her magic spell.
This project is one of the best albums we’ve heard and a must-have for any collection due to the bare bones gorgeousness of how it was made. Clairo was able to branch out and touch other content matters while staying true to herself and her sound. This album is a perfect balance of poetry and motion.
