Rhye Has A New Fire Album- Home
The music group Rhye is basically a duo consisting of vocalist Michael Milosh and producer Robin Hannibal. These two members have been the only constant fixtures since the band formed a decade ago. The latest album Home is probably the best complete album they have produced.
Home has thirteen tracks including the intro and outro. What we really like about this album is that it delivers the trademark sound of Milosh but still has a lot to offer by way of diversity. These guys really have us wishing the album came with a set of bath-bombs so we could pair each song with the appropriate suds.
“Black Rain” is one of those upbeat songs on the album that really makes it special. There is nothing about this tune we aren’t in love with.
“Helpless” is one of the slower, more groove/funk songs on the album but please note the deep strokes Milosh uses with his voice. Holding on to each note for the precise amount of time needed for the emotional content is what this vocalist does best.
“Come In Closer” is a great song and actually the lead song in the album so you know it meant a lot to the group to give it to the fans first. Rhye is one of those groups that does not appear in their music videos so it is interesting to see where and what will be included in each piece.
