Ride Out On Leon Bridges New Single ‘Motorbike’
Leon Bridges just released a smoking single called “Motorbike” which is a part of his upcoming album Gold-Diggers due this summer. Leon Bridges is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the world of R&B. The Texas-born singer, who now resides in Atlanta, has a classic style that’s as warm as a v-neck sweater.
The song is paired with a video directed by Anderson. Paak. The team was able to channel a 70’s inspired vibe that elevated the song into a cinematic work. A storytelling piece that not only embodied the song, but also captured the characteristics of the artist himself. The sky is the limit for Mr. Bridges, his universal appeal is off the wang-wang.
“The inception of the song started with this afrobeat-type instrumental that my homeboy Nate Mercerau made. Prior to the session, I was in Puerto Rico for my 30th with some of my best friends, and the energy of that trip totally inspired this song. ‘Motorbike’ is about living in the moment and escaping with someone. It’s the personification of that unspoken chemistry you have with that person. A special thank you to my man Anderson.Paak for the stunning visuals.”
