Track Of The Day- Christmas Saves The Year By Twenty One Pilots
Twenty One Pilots needs no formal introduction to anyone that’s half a music fan. Just in case you weren’t, the Ohio Duo consists of vocalist Tyler Joseph and ridiculously talented drummer Josh Dun. Our track of the day is a wonderful Christmas carol by the seasoned group called “Christmas Saves The Year”. Written and recorded at the home of founding vocalist Tyler Joseph, this song may very well be the best Christmas song ever written by an indie band.
The visual that goes along with this holiday treat is really quaint, soft, and warm like a patch-blanket. This track is so beautifully written that it almost sounds like the Beatles with such plump lyrical doughnuts like “Ashes fall in the sea”. This is a wonderful tune to help round out the year that it has been, let’s just say different than all the rest. It feels good to hear a message of healing. It’s nice to feel like we are going to be saved by anything.

They do sound a bit like the Beatles. Nice!
It does feel like a comfy blanket and brings some joy. They are right. Everyone wants to be “home”…some get to in person, some thru technology…some thru redefining what home is because not much is normal. Grateful there’s more than one way to accomplish it!
