Valerie June & Little Dragon Go Deeper With “Stay” Remix
Great art is never finished, only abandoned. We are beside ourselves listening to the reimagined version of “Stay”. It’s definitely one of the more moving singles from the Moon and Stars: Prescriptions for Dreamers album. Valerie got together with the lovely vocalist Yukimi Nagano of one of our favorite bands, Little Dragon.
We always get giddy when our favorite musical powers unite. The vocal richness the singers provide is like a doublestack cookie, that’s been folded and forged in the heavenly fires of Keebler. This is an impactful song that sounds incredible with another set of lungs on it. This is a wonderful collaboration that we hope we see more of.
