New Music Alert: Still Emo by Emotional Oranges
One of the more interesting and dynamic groups we cover is a duo called Emotional Oranges out of Los Angeles. The group formed in 2017 in Los Angeles, California when “A”, an audio engineer for Drake, and “V”, a vocal coach for Adele, met at a bat mitzvah 2017.
There were some rumors the band would not be working on another record so this is quite a nice surprise. The band said this about the chatter “We know some of you guys were sad to The Juice era come to a close. However, we’re back to remind you that we are STILL EMO!”. Picking up right where they left off with their first fully independent album Juicebox.
This album is flush with great beats, superb vocals, and a generational spanning lyrical content. We even got a few bars on the song Be Somebody (feat. TKAY (@tkaymaidza). The sound could not be more vibrant. The production is brilliant which makes this album very enjoyable to play all the way through.
