Jungle’s Sunshine Gives Us a Reason to Make Room for the Whole Album

There is discovering a song, and then there is letting a band take over the room. We would like to make a little more time for the second one.

Jungle’s Sunshine arrived August 14, 2026, through Caiola Records and AWAL. The fifth album contains 11 songs across roughly 32 minutes. It also finds Lydia Kitto established alongside J. Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland in the group’s three-person lineup. The official streaming release lists the album, and Jungle’s Bandcamp offers a direct route to the music.

Those 32 minutes are our proposed assignment. No elaborate homework. No requirement to identify every influence before you are allowed to enjoy yourself. Just a proper listen from beginning to end, followed by a trip through the videos on the band’s own site.

Jungle’s attraction for Bubbling Box has always involved more than a name on a playlist. We are interested in the relationship between the song, the body and the image—the point where listening becomes something you physically participate in. Following the record into its visual world is a much more rewarding introduction than collecting a few seconds of choreography without the music around it.
