Follow Childish Gambino’s Running Straight Into Dahi’s World

Sometimes the best way to catch up with a favorite artist is to follow them onto someone else’s record.

Donald Glover, recording as Childish Gambino, joins Dahi on “Running,” released July 10, 2026. The collaboration also appears on Dahi’s Black Boy (Alternative), which arrived August 28 through ALTER Music. The single is the quick doorway; the 11-track album is where we would keep exploring.

The guest list makes that exploration especially tempting. Kendrick Lamar and Amber Mark share “How to Pray.” Channel Tres and Vince Staples appear on “Who Are You.” Elmiene and Ravyn Lenae meet on “Drowning.” Those pairings give us plenty to investigate beyond the first familiar name that caught our eye.

We love Glover’s willingness to move between creative worlds, but this is also an opportunity to put Dahi in the center of his own work. A collaboration should widen the attention, not turn the host into a footnote.

Our suggested route is simple: “Running” first, then choose a pairing you have not heard together before. After that, let the album sequence do its job. Following the credits can be its own form of music discovery—and this particular set of names offers several promising doors.
