Listen To New Single “Favorable Colours” By Slenderbodies

Los Angeles electro duo Slenderbodies released their third full-length studio album Are We? in time for 2021 summer fun. With a lot of albums set to release this summer like a flock of sleek-haired geese, this is an album with a gang of golden eggs. One of our favorite songs from the project is the song “Favorable Colours”, a familiar emotion with a zesty twist. An ode to that limbo space in a relationship between staying and going. The song has a stutter step, bursting beat that throbs and squeezes wonderfully.

The band is self-described as obsessed with guitars and falsetto. Both are fruitfully spouting throughout the record like a broken garden hose. It’s clear that the group has been fine-tuning their music-making skills during the pandemic. The pair will be on tour throughout North America this year to promote the album.
