Taska Black & Violet Skies Combine For Sweet Single “When I Come Home”

One of our favorites in a great batch of summer indie songs is the new collabo by Taska Black & Violet Skies. The single “When I Come Home” is a fast-moving streetcar clinging to the hills of a rolling metropolis. We rise and fall to the strum of guitars as the melody belts out the smiles. This is a powerful ode, but has a blissful amount of gitty up and go to it.

“When it came to writing the song, it was quite free-flowing, arriving in maybe two hours. I felt super connected to it immediately, and I’m so happy it’s coming out. It’s about dealing with your issues, even the ones that aren’t huge or life-changing, but they still need addressing and not hiding from them.”
