Hulaween Is Calling: A Florida Festival Worth Planning For
Festival preview · October 22–25, 2026 · Live Oak, Florida
Florida, we do not always have to board a plane to find a weekend that rearranges our musical priorities. Hulaween returns to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak from October 22–25, and this is the moment to plan the practical parts while the group chat is still enthusiastic.
A lineup with room to wander
The official 2026 bill includes Pretty Lights, My Morning Jacket, Excision, Geese and The String Cheese Incident, alongside Ben Böhmer, Green Velvet, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and plenty more. That range is the attraction for us: a festival day should leave room for the artist you came to see and the one you did not know you needed.
Hulaween also has its Spirit Lake art experience. Music and visual imagination sharing a setting is very much our language. This is a preview, not a report from this year’s grounds, but there is already plenty here to put on the calendar.
Sort these things before packing
- Camping: the official FAQ says four-day general admission includes primitive camping, from 8 a.m. Thursday, October 22, until noon Monday, October 26. Sites are first-come, first-served.
- Your vehicle: car camping and RV passes are separate. A festival wristband does not automatically solve where the car sleeps.
- Comfort matters: think headlamp, layers, spare socks, sunscreen, insect repellent and a plan for your rubbish. Glamour can survive sensible footwear.
Use the festival’s own ticket links and read the current FAQ before buying or travelling. Check the official schedule closer to the weekend; artists and arrangements can change.
Our advice? Pick a few must-sees, then leave a little breathing room. An overbooked festival plan is just a work calendar wearing glitter.
